Large handmade Cosi Tabellini Italian heavy pewter umbrella stand with beautiful vintage patina, etched detailing and sweeping handle.

Could also be used as a statement centrepiece or a large vase for flowers.

Overall in great vintage condition, one visible scratch to the side and some other minor signs of wear and age.

Three stamped marks to base - the thistle and initials 'CT' stands for Cosi Tabellini and the '95' is the percentage of tin in the alloy.

Established in 1954, Cosi Tabellini is a third generation, family-run company still using age-old techniques of handcasting pewter. Cosi Tabellini's artisanal workshop is located in the ancient city of Brescia, Lombardia in Northern Italy, an area famous for centuries for pewter craftwork and generations of skilled pewterers.
