A rare, low turned wooden French screw pedestal plinth or side table to display plants or art. Originally used as an apple press for making cider.
Heavy, structurally sound in aged condition. Signs of wear, scratches and scrapes, splits to wood as the wood has dried out over the years which is typical of these pieces, wear to varnish on top but all gives character and age to the piece.
